We're excited to announce a new series of short documentaries, called "Michigan Stories." Each month, we'll be telling another fascinating Michigan story that's been totally forgotten or lost to history.

We begin with "The Story of Crazy Jack Hyatt," the tale of Michigan's most infamous inmate. He led the biggest prison riot in Michigan history, he kidnapped a governor behind bars and a whole lot more. He died an old man in Canada in total anonymity, but his life behind bars was legendary.
