The morning after hands met light,
and breath moved gently through sacred space,
a hawk appeared—
not soaring,
but resting on a low branch
just outside my window.

Eyes steady, watching.
A guardian of stillness,
perched in silence
as if drawn by the residue of healing.

No chase, no cry—
only presence.
A mirror to the Reiki:
power without force,
clarity without noise.

He sat where the veil felt thin,
between this world and the next,
between effort and ease.

Not above me, but beside me.
A messenger not of command,
but of confirmation.
That energy sent
is energy received.
