We had a blast yesterday, Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM! We had such a wonderful, tight-knit group for our Learn and Grow event! A massive thank you to Kyra from the Stark Museum of Art for coming out, reading “My Teacher is an Alien” by Bruce Coville, and leading the kids in an awesome vase-painting craft. 🏺

We know some of our printed brochures had a scheduling error for Thursday events, so thank you all for checking our pinned post and rolling with the punches. Between the typo and the horrible weather, you all proved that nothing stops our community from having a great time! 🌧️💪

Muchísimas gracias a Kyra del Museo de Arte Stark por visitarnos, compartir la lectura de “My Teacher is an Alien” de Bruce Coville y guiar a los niños en una padrísima actividad de pintura en vasijas. 🏺

Sabemos que algunos de los folletos impresos tenían un error con el horario de los eventos de los jueves; les agradecemos de corazón por revisar nuestra publicación fija y adaptarse al cambio. Entre la confusión del folleto y el clima tan feo que nos tocó, ¡ustedes demostraron que nada detiene a nuestra comunidad cuando se trata de pasarla bien! 🌧️💪

Some printed brochures for today’s Learn and Grow event listed the start time as 6:00 PM. The event actually took place at 2:00 PM. If you arrived expecting a later start, we are so sorry for the mix-up and for any inconvenience it caused.

To clarify the confusion: Learn and Grow takes place every Thursday at 2:00 PM. We hope you’ll give us another try at an upcoming session! Keep an eye on our page for what’s coming up, and don’t hesitate to call the library with any questions.

📚✨We had a great time at Chapter Crafters yesterday making bookmarks! We also enjoyed listening to the audiobook "My Teacher Is an Alien" by Bruce Coville while we crafted. It was so much fun seeing everyone's creativity shine through their unique designs. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Wednesday's program such a success!
