Hurricane Season is Here: Is Your Pool Covered for Hurricane Damages?
As we enter hurricane season, it is important to ensure that your pool is protected from any storms that may approach. The most important thing you can do now is verify with your insurance company that your pool is included on your Homeowners Policy. This is especially important if you are a new pool owner.
As a reminder, hurricanes as well as severe storms, may cause your pool to be filled with significant debris and this is not automatically covered in pool/spa maintenance contracts. If your pool is maintained by Calm Waters, our teams can be available to assist with damages and cleanup if you need us and we will provide you with a fair price for the assistance you require.
If a hurricane doe approach our priority will be the safety of our teammates and may result in services being delayed until we can safely get back to work. We will continue to service our valued customers until such time a Tropical Storm and/or Hurricane warning is issued by the National Weather Service.
In the unfortunate instance we are impacted by a hurricane over the coming months, we are here to help in any way we can.
