Here’s what we have planned for our Gunter Library 2026 Summer Reading Program.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Dollar General for the $2,000 SRP Grant and Gunter Sonic for SRP FREE DRINK bookmarks. These donations make amazing SRP activities come alive. Don’t miss a single 1!

Make sure to register for this Water Conservation Workshop on Thursday, June 11th at 6:30PM. Learn about lawn and landscape irrigation to get the best results while still conserving water resources. Parents! Yep school is done Thursday! I bet each of you have the full summer all fully scheduled. If not quite all locked down just yet the Gunter Library has your back-up plan. We kick off our 2026 Summer Reading Program 6/2 at 1pm for registration and a fun filled SRP book-bag. This year’s SRP theme is “Unearth a Story” we’ll have our 1st special event at 2pm that same day, Dinosaur Adventures”!

We have so many other kid themed events, activities, crafts and reading contests through the end of July planned so stay tuned here on FB or visit our website next week and pencil in some FREE Library SRP fun. www.gunterlibrary.com
