Me and my son, Matthew, are acting as Ambassadors for Autism Speaks to show support and awareness to this amazing charity that is important to us. We are doing so while accomplishing our own personal goal of completing all 6 World Major Marathons as a Mother~Son running team! We will be earning our 5th World Major Marathon Star at the completion of the London Marathon in April 2023. Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. They empower people with autism and their families with resources, online tools and information covering the life span.
