Also notice because of his stability issues whenever possible we hold his legs close to his body. This gives him support and balance making the grooming much more manageable and secure for our older or physically challenged pets. Keeping a hand and forearm in contact with the dog throughout the groom helps them feel stronger instead of making them rely on only 3 legs unassisted.
