US9Prospects Tryouts for SPRING/SUMMER 2023:

The US9Prospects will be fielding teams next spring/summer from ages 11u-18u. Our 11u-14u teams will play in the East Shore Travel League and will also be competing in 2-3 tournaments. Our 15u-18u travel teams will be College Prep teams and Tournament Teams, competing in high end tournaments throughout the Northeast along with some of the top college camps and showcases. We will also be taking a group of 2025 Grads to Fort Myers, Florida in late September, early October for the WWBA World Series. We will be running the tryouts all winter until we fill our teams. If you cannot make a tryout listed below, we will be running private tryouts throughout the winter after the main dates listed below.

All of our teams will be sponsored by Wilson, Louisville Slugger, Evo Shield and Demarini.

Hamden Yards would like to welcome former NY Yankee Star, Shane Spencer back for another season. Shane will be available for private and group hitting lessons beginning Saturday January 22nd. Shane will be available every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the winter and spring. He will also be coaching our 14u spring team with another former Major Leaguer Brian Looney and then joining one of our 15u teams for the summer.

We have room for 1-2 players on our spring 14u team for those interested in being coached by 2 former MLB Players.

The US9Prospects will be running tryouts for our Spring/Summer travel teams throughout the months of November and December. If you cannot attend a tryout date listed below, please contact Brian Looney at 203-526-4931 or at [email protected] for a private evaluation. Our third round of tryouts are posted on our Hamden Yards Website and are listed below for the third week. We will continue to run our tryouts weekly until our teams are full. I will post the new tryouts weekly on the website.

Former NY Yankee Shane Spencer and Brian Looney will be coaching our 14u team. Shane will also be coaching one of summer teams.
