On Tuesday, Americans nationwide will head to the polls to cast their ballots, choosing the next President of the United States — former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris.

Hamden residents will come out in droves to the nine voting sites across town.

Whitney Avenue features an array of beloved pizzerias, with a new addition. Rizzo’s Original Pizza Tub () takes a twist on the classic Italian dish, where it creates oval-shaped tub pizzas with a variety of toppings. The pizzeria also offers desserts such as Vegan Pumpkin Maple Whoopie Pie.

“It’s been going pretty good. People are still finding out about us. Been doing a lot of advertising and social media,” Rizzo said. “Everybody that tries it, they have nothing but really good things to say.”
