A customer came to us with a challenge: after heat treating, some of their steel-cased hammers were coming out slightly out of square and needed a way to be corrected.
We designed a custom press brake fixture that allows operators to adjust the lower die for the amount of correction needed. The machined pocket in the base is used to adjust the hammer claw in either direction, making sure the claw and handle are brought back into square.
