📷THROUGH THE LENS//DECEMBER 11, 1994: Company C, 1st Battalion, 147th Armor, taken at the Greenville Armory. The unit had converted from an engineer company to tank company in January 1994 and the former 147th Infantry had converted to the 147th Armor. New armor guidons had not yet been received by the unit and the photograph shows the old infantry guidon.

🗓 ON THIS DAY//NOVEMBER 28, 1995: Companies B and D, 1st Battalion, 137th Aviation Regiment are organized in Columbus as Troops D and E, 2d Squadron, 107th Cavalry. Both units have mobilized multiple times in support of the War on Terrorism and earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation in 2009 while deployed to Iraq.
