We’re incredibly grateful to MacKenzie Scott for a $70 million gift to Meals on Wheels America.
At a time when nearly 14 million older adults are worried about having enough to eat and only 1% of philanthropic funding supports senior causes, this investment couldn’t come at a more important moment.
It will help strengthen our nationwide network of local providers so more seniors can be reached, more reliably and sustainably.

This marks 54 years of the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program—a lifeline that helps millions of seniors stay healthy and at home. Too many seniors are waiting for nutrition and social connection at a time where 13 million seniors are struggling with hunger. Help us help our Older Adults by donating and supporting our Meals on Wheels department.
Today we are celebrating our Meals on Wheels Drivers and MOW Staff for all of work they do for our clients!
