Bob Westcott

Kid would've turned 80 yesterday. Can you imagine the impact that he would've had on your life if he'd made it this far? I can, because it's a daily practice for me to say "Bob would've done X," and when I really need some truth, to wonder, "WHAT would Bob have said or done." I feel an obligation not to believe my own lies to myself anymore, almost as if he's the one looking back at me in the mirror and saying, "bu****it Westcott!" The difference that this is making in my life is profound. It's really hard work and tires me out, but at least I'm not pretending anymore. Happy birthday Bobcat, love you man.
