Chip's Auto is a very busy auto repair center, looking for a highly experienced auto mechanic that is a team player, has great work ethic, and a positive attitude, to become part of our team!

Job Responsibilities:

-Perform routine and preventative maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups

-Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics in a timely manner

-Efficiently and accurately perform light and major repairs: OBD II systems, brake components, tires, alignments, tune-ups, suspension components, electrical systems, state inspections, interior/exterior components, engine and drivetrain components, etc. We believe in quality over quantity.

-Test drives vehicle to confirm proper operation, that repairs have been made properly, and that problems have been resolved

-Ability to explain mechanical problems and needed repairs in a non-technical manner

-May have direct interaction with customers and will display exceptional interpersonal skills

-Help to keep shop clean and organized

Position Requirements:

-7+ years of strong demonstrable automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience

-Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of service
Ability to multitask and keep up with a large work load

-Must have working knowledge of shop equipment

-Must have a valid driver’s license

-Physical strength and stamina, and ability to lift 50 lbs, unassisted
