Proud to announce that we just completed the installation of a new sound system at Athletic Park (Buddy Dufreche Stadium) in Ponchatoula! 🎤⚾

From crisp announcements to clear game-day music and announcements, this upgrade will help make every baseball game, event, and community gathering at this historic field even better for players, fans, and families.

A huge thank you to the City of Ponchatoula and everyone involved for trusting us with this important project. We’re grateful to support our local parks and help bring more life to one of Ponchatoula’s landmarks!

If you haven’t prepared already, here are a few ideas of things you may need for the next few days.

Knowing the difference between a hurricane watch and a hurricane warning can be helpful in identifying the time when storm preparations should already be completed. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) offers the following definitions:

* A watch is typically issued 48 hours before the anticipated first occurrence of tropical-storm-force winds (sustained winds of 74 mph or higher for a hurricane or sustained winds of 39 to 73 mph for a tropical storm). Conditions that make outside preparations difficult or dangerous.

* A warning is typically issued 36 hours before the anticipated first occurrence of tropical–storm-force winds. Conditions that make outside preparations difficult or dangerous. Preparations to protect life and property should be rushed.
