At Trinity Safety Services, we often receive inquiries about the expected lifespan of fire extinguishers, and our response is always the same. "It depends on the level of maintenance and how they are stored." Here is a prime example of fire extinguisher longevity. Our friends at Antioch Baptist Church-Tickfaw contacted us on Friday to service their fire extinguishers. When we arrived, we found their extinguishers to be in immaculate condition. The only work that had to be done to these fire extinguishers was regular preventative maintenance including hydrostatic testing of the cylinders. These extinguishers were obviously kept inside, in a climate controlled area, and were also keep clean and free of any dust/dirt build up. We almost couldn’t believe that these extinguishers were manufactured in 38 years ago in 1987! Thank you for trusting us to service your extinguishers Antioch Baptist Church-Tickfaw!
