Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller and the Tangipahoa Parish Council have signed a proclamation recognizing the month of May as Mental Health Awareness Month. One in five adults experiences a mental health concern each year, and encourages citizens, government agencies, public and private institutions, businesses, and schools to increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues, as well as recognize the steps citizens can take to protect their mental health, and promote the need for appropriate and accessible services for all people with mental health conditions.

What an uplifting way to conclude the work week with a staff meeting, filled with synergy and connection while discovering the incredible work of Charlie Health!!!

The TPSS Office of Innovation was proud to host a Mental Health Fair in Hammond this week. This event served as a vital hub for families to meet directly with local service providers and schedule appointments on-site.

Events like these are essential in our mission to provide holistic support for our students and their families. We are grateful to the numerous community agencies that shared their expertise and resources with us today.
