I’ve had a few college students ask me, “How do you keep & make friends after graduation 🧑‍🎓 ?” “Effort to connect enough, authentic curiosity in another, and not placing expectations on someone to be all things, at all times, to you (find something you can appreciate about them and celebrate that in the friendship). Some of my friends are problem solvers. They are the ones I go to for help. Some are hilarious - they are the ones I go to to brighten my life with laughter. Others are seekers, like me. I go to them to learn and share dreams. I’ve known these amazing women for 20+years. They make me better. We made it a point to connect for a weekend, despite all of us having careers, family, and tons of responsibilities. The cup is full again.
