Acts 2:4-8, Here we have the account of the Holy Spirit filling the disciples and speaking through them to these "devout" men from different nations. These were men that had come together to Jerusalem from different nations to participate in the celebration of the annual feast of Pentecost (Shavuot). These men were not the same as the rest of the crowd.
GOD spoke through the disciples and allowed these "devout "men to hear what the Spirit was saying.
We will only hear from the Heavenly Father if we are expecting to hear and if we are not wanting to use HIM to further our own interest. (James 4:3, Exodus 20:7)
It is with mixed emotions that I make this post, Today James (Bo) Hartness went home to be with the Lord.. He will definitely be missed by all of us and our Prayers are with His wife Mary Ellen Hartness, as she deals with Her loss.
We had a great Bible Study today. Acts chapter 1 and 2. Being filled with Power. For Gods service.
