Today’s hike in Stoos, Switzerland started with the world’s steepest funicular railway — 110% gradient, which already sounds like a bad idea on paper.
From there: stunning alpine views, fresh mountain air, and a “small” hike of 15 km with 800 meters of elevation gain.
Absolutely beautiful. Also absolutely not a walk in the park. My legs have filed a formal complaint.
