Her brother, Ganza Bonheur is 11 and will be attending Sancta Clara school for his 2nd year of primary. We are raising funds for a FULL year of their education. We recommend: Message from Sara at https://www.facebook.com/AfricaHealingExchange

"On May 22nd Mount Nyiragongo in Democratic Republic of Congo erupted. The lava and fires moved across the border into the Western Province of Rwanda where we have been working for a decade. The immediate impact was loss of electricity and water supplies, displaced residents of DRC, and emission of volcanic gases which made it difficult to breath. A series of earthquakes followed and caused major infrastructure damage.

Unfortunately there is no insurance coverage or government assistance for them to rebuild so we are doing what we can to connect the families in Rwanda with international sponsors.

We have just finished assessing the damage at Umutuzo place and out of the 55 families that are members of our partner cooperative, 4 families have lost their homes, and the rest have homes that have been damaged, with at least 28 homes that are uninhabitable.

We are trying to raise at least $20,000 to assist with their rebuilding efforts. With a gift of $250, one family's home can be repaired and with a gift of $2,500 a nice new home can be constructed.
