To celebrate MTB season kicking off tomorrow at Boston Lot, I threw in some single track at the very end of this route, those who aren't comfortable can take Trescott road back to Garipay. This is what happens when Fran let's me do all the planning...

Everyone that attends the SMGR is responsible for the route. While we hope to ride in groups, gravel riding is not as conducive to group riding as road riding, add to that many intersections- so either load the route on your bike computer/ phone or stick with someone who has the route.

Bring enough food/ water for the route. There are times when we do not pass stores so come prepared. If we know there is a store, we will stop. Also bring a minimum of a tube/ repair kit etc.

We will break into smaller groups based on pace. In May we will have different start times w/ the faster riders starting after the slower riders.

One of the goals of the SMGR for the season is to explore new roads/ routes so we don't always know what will come across so there may be hike a bike, some technical stuff etc. If we know there is pave we will let you know. We also hope to explore some different areas in NH and VT. We will do our best to give you advanced warnings when we plan bigger/ longer adventure rides. Please feel free to share ideas with us.

Gravel bikes always recommended unless we post otherwise.
