There are too many emotions to express today as I look back on our National Gathering. (Joy, exhaustion, gratitude) But my friend Vern grabbed this photo and I’m going to leave this here because I’m blessed. Blessed to work the land of my Forebearers. Blessed to steward this Fold of Highlands. Honored to trusted with these responsibilities. Honored to work with TREMENDOUS humans everyday. My Farm Family is more than blood genetics. But THIS moment, I just took it all in with my Dad. He started this Highland & I will carry it forward. On longest day of the year, Happy Father’s Day to Peter Sheppard. I am blessed to call you my Dad.
