Today was one of those days that reminds me how connected we all really are.

Through our friends at City of Refuge, we welcomed volunteers from Metro Church of God in Birmingham, Alabama. They spent the day working alongside our team, packing outreach supplies, preparing food, sorting donations, and doing whatever needed to be done.

I never stop being amazed by people who are willing to travel hundreds of miles to serve complete strangers. But the truth is, by the end of the day they didn’t feel like strangers at all.

Thank you for sharing your time, your energy, and your hearts with us today. The work you did will touch lives all across our community, and we’re incredibly grateful.

Community really does change everything. ❤️

Had the pleasure of visiting Club 164 this morning. Thank you Kenneth Rollins Jr. for inviting us and showing us all the incredible things happening in this space!

Food, meetings, fun, fellowship & community are all foundations to making real life changes-this place provides a safe space for ALL of that.

Keeping sobriety at the forefront is imperative, and these guys are setting a huge example for ways to have fun without using.

We had breakfast, got a tour, and Kevin even got to share the meeting this morning…super awesome start to our weekend!

Look forward to seeing how we can collab more in the future. ✨
