Thank you to everyone who attended our Summer Safety Fair last week!

I had an incredible time connecting with our local families in such a fun environment. Attendees enjoyed rides on the Pride of the Susquehanna, safety demonstrations, free BBQ and milkshakes, and many went home with free life jackets!

Thanks to Sen. Patty Kim, my House colleagues Rep. David Madsen and Rep. Nate Davidson, Harrisburg River Rescue and Emergency Services, and all our incredible partners who helped make this event possible!

Congratulations to the class of 2026! Whether you’re continuing your education, entering the workforce, or pursuing another path, you should be extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished.

To the recently graduated senior classes of Bishop McDevitt High School, Central Dauphin High School, Central Dauphin East High School, Dauphin County Technical School, and Susquehanna Township School District, enjoy this milestone! I look forward to all the great things ahead in your futures.

I’d also like to recognize the parents, families, teachers, and support staff who helped guide and encourage these students every step of the way. The community is so proud of you and excited to see all you’ll achieve!

I’m proud to share that Dauphin County Technical School was recently awarded $85,000 through the Competitive Equipment Grants program. DC Tech was one of 54 schools across the state to receive funding.

The funding will be used to either update or purchase equipment to train students in career and technical education programs.

This investment helps prepare today’s students for the jobs of tomorrow!
