TwoMums Takeaway Tea Boxes

Ok, first of all, thank you SO MUCH for the honest and open feedback on the survey. I appreciate your input so much. It really gave me a lot to think about and reevaluate. 🤔

It was overwhelmingly obvious that some things need to change about how I do this little business (which I definitely knew already…hence the survey) and there were several very good suggestions made which I am taking into consideration as I contemplate how to best restructure things here at TwoMums. 

One thing that was very apparent was that several of you really loved the idea that I start a tea blog. This is something I have thought about adding ever since the very beginning of the business, but I wasn't sure it would be something you would be interested in. After all, not everyone is as dedicated (read: obsessed) to tea as I am! 😆 So I am working on that, but in order to do it right it will take me a bit of time. Just know that it’s definitely in the hopper and will be coming down the pipeline hopefully sooner than later. I would LOVE to know what sort of things you would like me to write about. Please dm me any ideas!

Another thing that was fairly obvious (and again was something I suspected) was that you all preferred having the whole tea experience or at least a similar version included in the box. I am working on ideas that will get us back to something closer to the original TwoMums experience. Maybe just on a bit smaller scale.
I'm looking for ways to make them each feel more special. With that in mind, I am still working out the schedule for everything in my calendar (there are already 9 weddings on my books before July that I'm baking for! Gosh!), but I will be posting info about the first tea box of the year soon.

Thank you again for your remarkable patience and the encouragement you’ve all been to me (even the constructive criticism) as I share my heart here with all of you. You really are the best!

My goodness, H E L L O lovelies!

Whew! It's been a while! I'm so sorry for dropping the ball like that and going dark for the entire month of December. Sheesh! What can I say? Christmas really got me this year. I STILL feel like I'm trying to play catch up from all the things.

I had intended to offer Christmas scones and a treat, but timing was against me and before I knew it we were in the week before the holiday so at that point I chose to just let it ride and enjoy time with my family. I hope you all did the same.

I have been reevaluating again and weighing where I should go with this little business for the future.

To be completely honest and transparent, sales REALLY dropped off when I made the change to only offering scones and pick up only. I expected it to drop some but we went from 40-50 orders down to less than 10 each month after the switch. It was definitely apparent that people preferred the other business model.

I am just trying to decipher whether the drop in business was from the major changes I did or if TwoMums' novelty has worn off. 🤔

This will help me determine whether I should keep investing time and effort into the business, change it up again, or call it good and move on.
