Arms Acres in Carmel, NY is seeking a highly energetic individual to join their staff. The Peer Advocate will provide peer support to all methadone and OPT clients, encourage them to adhere to clinic policies and procedures, manage client flow, especially around times when the clinic experiences potential bottle necks as clients arrive and wait to be seen by medical staff, provide assistance in recovery plan development. Their duties are essentially to supplement the support in a non-clinical manner to clients who attend the OTP.
