Remember that time was a red head? 🤭🎬 Life as actors sure look different now with Evangeline. Our last 2 weeks have looked like alternating time with our sweet baby all day solo, while one of us is on set or the studio and then grabbing a hug or a kiss before going to bed and restarting it all again 🎥✨It’s been busy and exhausting but God is working through it all, as we got sweet time in the Word together yesterday before my final “film” acting day on the latest movie. It was so special! And many people that were on LifeMark are on this one and we just can’t wait to talk more about it when the time comes. Also…Mom or Dad guilt is such a thing. But I realized something beautiful about Justin’s full day with Evie yesterday. She got complete one on one time with her Daddy. And I think that’s really special and a great privilege that’s rare. Always believing God cares about all good things more than we do. And God loves Evie even more than us. And God loves me. May I always remember this.

First full day on set as a pumping momma. 🎬✨God moved in INCREDIBLE ways as He always does and I cannot begin to tell you how great it was to be reunited with so many “film family members” and how great it was to meet new ones. I had countless women encourage me as a momma and a lot of great men helping me find a freezer to store my milk, a secluded spot to pump, and plenty of margin to do so. And it’s just so evident God cares about my dreams more than I do. He cares when I’m on set. He cares about me as a mom. He cares about this beautiful story and the people that will see it. And I hope it resonates and sparks something extraordinary in our generation when it comes out. Happy Friday people! Can’t wait to be back next week. PS thank you for this pic on my way out. 💐 So much joy this week. And I’m beyond grateful! I asked God to recharge my spirit and remove overwhelm and I have seen Him work in big ways, in the day to day. To see my daughter watching every little thing I do, makes me excited to transform my home, by letting God transform my heart. I’m grateful for Him guiding me. Saturday we step into our sixth project together as a family. Justin as a BTS videographer and me as Day Player for two days.

I like to reflect on the past and where God brought us and what He taught us so I can prepare my heart in the best way I can for the next journey. And I know our biggest take away over the last two years of working as a couple and as new parents, is to keep Christ center. Would you pray for us in that?

It’s hard. It’s messy. I get easily distracted in this phase of running a business and changing diapers, let alone trying to stay ministry focused and intentional with my husband and my sweet Evangeline. (My number one priorities under God.)

And yet the beautiful impact in all the navigating is I keep seeing God using all of these projects not just to build our careers, but to build our hearts. We thought early on it was about us. He keeps using these bookings to remind us it’s about Him.

And the way I can think it’s about me is when I let the enemy come to steal, kill and destroy.

“You’re a new mom. You can’t do this.”

“You don’t look the same. I doubt you can ever play the characters you once did.”

“Even if you get on set, are you even ready anymore? You aren’t as sharp.”

Lie after lie, God calls us into truth. And the beautiful, wonderful thing I’ve learned being in faith based entertainment is they prepare for the lies and attack, and cover everyone in prayer constantly. We are not alone doing brave things!

Please pray for blessing and overflow for us and this incredible team who started filming this week. We love them deeply! And believe in what they do!

Please pray for my sweet sweet Evie to not just be ok without momma for two days…but to thrive with her babysitter(s), knowing she isn’t just loved by her momma and dadda but a whole community of incredible people.
