The Pour House

Over a year ago, Jean and Scott left this earth to spend more quality time with family and friends that had left us earlier before. I guarantee they are looking down and watching all the changes and grinning. They are seeing you get new careers, start new families and grow up in so many ways.

The Pour House will not and can never be what they made it but I know they both saw something in Harrison. They wanted to love and appreciate where they lived and what they started in the community. Their goal was to work hard to help the square grow into something special.

As time passes it is easy for many to start to forget and many that are new didn’t have the chance to be part of the Pour House family. This beautiful building on the square was a dream for a 70 year young woman to prove she could do something that most normal people could not. From realtor to restaurant/bar owner is a huge feat and she did it with style and grace and lots of trial and error.

I would love to see my parents dream and adventure continue with someone else’s dream. I know they would want that as well.

The Pour House building and everything in it is for sale. It is time to turn this place into something great once again but that is going to take this community to make that happen. Spread the word, think outside the box like my parents did and help create a space that the community would like to gather in again. The place is a blank canvas for a beautiful piece of art. I look forward to seeing what is next.

Happy Birthday mom! Just last year we were able to celebrate at the Pour House your 74 years of being fabulous. Today we celebrate you as you raise the roof on heaven! We miss you!💕

Jean and Scott opened the Pour House to help bring more life into the square in Harrison. ❤️They did not know how to run a coffee house, bar and restaurant but showed up with heart each day and did their best until they couldn’t show up anymore. 🥰

Today we want to continue what they started by giving someone the chance to start something new and fresh and great for the community. 💛We will be selling the business and building and look forward to seeing the place take life once again. Only serious offers please. We want to see the place be successful and the people who decide to take on the opportunity successful too. 💗
