Our very first pineapple is growing! Excited to see how this turns out in a couple months.

I know we've been MIA for awhile - but off social media we have been quite busy! 3 different types of soap have hit the shelves, a brand new facial whipped tallow has been made and labeled, several rabbit hides are currently salting (to make some nice pelts!), and our garden produce is ripening faster than we can pick! We have been crazy busy, but the end result will be worth it. Been a blessed week for sure, and hope yalls week was just as blessed ❀️

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. ~ Colossians 3:24-25

Really nice Nigerian Dwarf herdsire prospect!
(Old Paths SD) Sawdust. This young buck is looking for a herd of his own. Kept him back last year to use him on a couple of our does but plans changed.. He is related to ALL but one doe in our herd, so it really makes no sense to keep him back.
*Located in Harrison AR
*Not skittish
*Comes with grain/when called
*He was both dam raised and bottle fed. So while he isnt crazy scared of people, he's also not in your face friendly.
*Comes from registered stock
*Register-able but would prefer that he goes unregistered.
*He IS horned.
*White with Gold spots.
*He comes from a back round with solid milk lines and proven genetics.
*Note: pictures are him of a junior buck last year. Updated ones have yet to be taken.
PM for more info.

We 'had' more kits!

Quite awhile ago lol. But at least we are finally posting them.

There is once again 10 kits in this litter. Pure TAMUKS. They are around 3 weeks old now, and we have an evenly split litter of 5 boys and 5 girls! We've always had more boys so we are pretty happy for this.
These are out of Spike x Hattie - these are Spike's first pure TAMUK litter for us. Hattie is a second time mom with her first litter being 3 kits (out of Arno). She really upped her game with this litter!

If you or anyone you know is looking for some nice quality TAMUK rabbits for their breeding program, don't hesitate to reach out! At this point we have plenty πŸ˜‚.

Finally!! Our 'Vanilla Bean Whipped Tallow' is finished and ready to be used!
It was whipped/made in small batches (all they way down to rendering the beef suet!).
We have two sizes available, 4oz and .5 oz.
Ingredients:
Beef Tallow (rendered by us from beef suet)
Organic Grade-A Vanilla Beans
Organic Jojoba Oil
Yes, it's just that simple - 3 ingredients. And also yes, it smells amazing, feels amazing, and dare i say, makes you want to sneak a bite when know one's looking πŸ˜‰.
These will hopefully very soon, be making it to our local farmers markets with us. But until then, if you would like to place an order on a jar (or two..) dont hesitate to reach out yall!
Seriously though, you wont regret it 😊

Garden flowers! The Dahlias and Lilies have bloomed.

Are they necessary? Wellll.. I'd argue yes. Every garden needs a pop of color.

But not only that. These beauties attract plenty of pollinators - which in turn pollinate our fruit and vegetable plants!

Reckon it's a win win! πŸ˜‰

Krause Farms Dandee..
This sweet doe was our very first American Alpine - she's one of the reasons we fell in love with this breed. Dandee had opinions - I can tell you that much! Dandee is the doe that started our "little house on the prairie" lines. She's been with us for 5 years - our first registered Alpine came from her, Old Paths P Nellie Oleson. We were blessed with 6 kids from her, 4 of which still reside on our farm.
Old Paths P Nellie Oleson. 2022
Old Paths P Laura Beth. 2024
Old Paths Reality Eliza Jane. 2025
Old Paths Maverick Ms. Beadle. 2026

She also has 8 grand kids and 1 great grand kid, (our first, fourth generation kid!)

Dandee has officially retired. No more milkings - No more kidding seasons. She will live out her time just being a goat. Grazing/foraging. Being the herd queen. Being boss. Treats and quiet time.

While it was bittersweet to let her go, Dandee was more than ready to be retired. She will now live as a spoiled pet, bringing love to her new family, and perhaps even teaching the younger goats the ropes. πŸ˜‰

Koyote before.. After - 2 years later!

Kye is 1/2 Jersey 1/2 Belted Galloway. He has been maturing very nicely (especially after our friends borrowed him for a couple months to cover their Jersey's lol). He may still be on the shorter side but he has suddenly had a growth spurt (go figureπŸ˜†).

Need to get some updated pictures because now he is definitely showing off his masculinity πŸ˜‚!

Love this sweet (but still manly πŸ˜‰) bull.

Excited to see what our newest buck produces..

Prickly Pear Cactus Blooms! Our Cactus has really flowered this year. Yes, it may have some serious spikes/spines/thorns, but those blooms sure are pretty!

Maybe just maybe we'll get some fruit of this cactus this year!
