A playground can be so much more than a place to play 🌱

Thanks to a generous grant from Harrisonburg Rotary, our Outdoor Learning Initiative is helping create spaces where children can explore, discover, and learn through the world around them.

Rotary representative Holly Ruff partnered with The Natural Garden, Inc to thoughtfully design new outdoor spaces filled with native plants that are safe for our children. On May 18, Harrisonburg Va Rotary Club volunteers joined us to bring that vision to life by planting new garden beds around our center.

We are so grateful for the community partners who continue investing in early childhood education and creating meaningful experiences for children at HRCDCC.
