Paddles Up! Virtus recently sponsored an employee team in the Riverfront Dragon Boat & Asian Festival held in Hartford. The festival celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) cultures through traditional music and dance, hands-on arts activities, food, and martial arts.
The Virtus team, sponsored by the AAPI Employee Resource Group, competed with over 35 teams in 500-meter dragon boat races on the Connecticut River as part of the festival.

Virtus recently provided a Financial Literacy program to approximately 25 members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, CT (BGCH) at their Asylum Hill Clubhouse.
The program featured a presentation that focused on financial basics, including creating a budget, tracking personal income and expenses with the 50/30/20 Rule, setting financial goals, and managing unexpected expenses. Other activities during the program were interactive group budgeting exercises with planning for family goals, saving for a car, and budgeting as a recent college graduate and a young working professional.
Virtus has been a corporate partner with the BGCH since 2021, providing financial support for BGCH members to achieve academic success and workforce readiness.
