Hartford Summer Reading Challenge!
Join us this Saturday, June 6, at Hartford Public Library’s Downtown Library, for an incredible day of live performances, family activities, and crafts featuring Hartford Proud Drill Drum & Dance, Self Suffice The RapOet, Mega Education Entertainment, Bubblemania, Pride Café, balloon sculpting, face painting, and much more! Special guests include the Yard Goats Mascot and Sugar & Spice Fairytale Princesses, Cinderella and Tiana.
Summer reading registration will also be available.

Yesterday was the grand reopening of the downtown branch of the Hartford Public Library! 📚
Three and a half years ago, this library faced flooding that caused a partial closure. Now, it is fully open and reimagined with new resources for our residents. Libraries are an essential part of our community and I’m beyond excited to see this location running at full capacity once again.
Congratulations to HPL and thank you to everyone who made this possible.
Today marks the full reopening of our long-awaited Downtown Library. We are officially fully restored, fully reimagined, but most importantly, fully yours.
