Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community while learning a valuable new skill? The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is calling for volunteers! VITA offers free tax preparation services to individuals and families with low-to-moderate incomes (earning less than $68,000 annually). As a certified IRS volunteer, you'll help prepare simple tax returns and screen clients for important tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Retirement Savings Contribution Credit (Saver's Credit)—which can significantly support families.

By volunteering with VITA, you'll gain hands-on skills, build your network, and deepen your understanding of the tax system, all while making a positive impact on your community.
