I have given presentations to classrooms full of kids who had never heard of half the animals I was talking about.
I have watched a seven year old learn what an okapi is and completely lose their mind over it.
I have stood in front of adults who thought they knew everything about wildlife and watched them realize they had barely scratched the surface.
that feeling never gets old. not once. not ever.
now I do it through a screen and the room is just bigger. sometimes a lot bigger. and every single time someone comments I had no idea this animal existed I feel exactly the same way I felt in front of that classroom.
