🐾💙 Roscoe Update 💙🐾

First and foremost, we want to say THANK YOU to our incredible Good Karma Project community! 🙏❤️ Your shares, donations, kind words, and unwavering support have made all the difference. Because of your generosity, Roscoe is getting the care he needs, and we truly couldn't do this without each and every one of you. 🐶✨

Unfortunately, after careful evaluation of the injury to Roscoe's left pelvic limb, it has been determined that the best course of action is to amputate the distal portion of his leg. 💔 While this isn't the outcome any of us were hoping for, it is the option that will give Roscoe the greatest chance at a happy, pain-free future and provide him with immediate relief from the discomfort he's been living with. ❤️‍🩹

Roscoe has been with us since his injury over a week ago, and today marks the beginning of the next step in his journey. 🌟 He'll be heading to stay with his wonderful foster, who will help prepare him for surgery, which is scheduled for Sunday. 🏡💕

Please keep Roscoe 🐾 and his amazing foster 🤍 in your thoughts and prayers as they begin this next chapter. 🙏 We are hopeful for a successful surgery, a smooth recovery, and brighter days ahead. 🌈💙

We have some wonderful news—we believe we've found a foster home for the sweet dog we've been calling Roscoe! Now we need your help with the next critical step.

We're hoping to schedule Roscoe's leg surgery this week or over the weekend, depending on the surgeon's availability. To make that happen, we urgently need to raise the funds for his procedure.

🧙‍♂️✨🔮 Merlin's Magical Adventure 🌟

Today, our brave little wizard, Merlin, traveled back to UGA 🏥🩺 for his second lymphangiogram since he has been with TGKP. We are so grateful to share some truly magical news! ✨💫

The lesions in Merlin's abdomen are actually smaller than they were before! 🙏💙🎉 Even more incredible, his limbs are symmetrical at this time! 🐾💪🥹 This is such an answered prayer because the possibility of amputating his affected leg has been one of our biggest fears since the very beginning of this journey. 💔➡️❤️‍🩹✨

Now our sweet wizard is back home 🏡💙, where he'll be resting 😴🐾, getting lots of snuggles 🤗💕, and preparing for the next chapter. We'll be following up with Dr. Morales 🩺 for his continued care. We've also attached today's referral information 📄 and invoice 🧾 (we are approx $1000 shy of having it covered in full) for anyone following Merlin's journey.

We are beyond thankful for every single person who has donated 💝, shared 📲, prayed 🙏, sent positive thoughts ✨, and supported our sweet boy. Your generosity and love have helped make this adventure possible, and we couldn't have done it without this amazing community. 🫶🌎💙

✨🧙‍♂️ The Magic of Merlin: We Need Your HELP! 🐾💜✨

Some stories are so extraordinary they feel like they belong in a fairy tale... and Merlin's is one of them. 🪄🐈

About a year and a half ago, Merlin's journey began at Bainbridge Animal Shelter, where the director reached out to Dr. Bowman after discovering an unusual growth on his abdomen. None of us could have imagined the adventure that lay ahead.

Since then, Merlin has faced more twists, turns, curveballs, victories, setbacks, and challenges than anyone could have expected. Through it all, he has remained brave, loving, and full of magic. 💜✨

Merlin has been diagnosed with lymphatic vascular malformation (LVM)—an incredibly rare condition with no known cure. While the treatments we've pursued have helped stabilize many of his lesions, they continue to slowly progress down his leg.

Today, Merlin and Dr. Bowman are at the University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital searching for more answers. Tomorrow, he'll be sedated for his second lymphangiogram. While we're not expecting a miracle diagnosis or an easy fix, we're hoping to learn what has changed.

Our biggest wish? 🌟🙏 That the lesions have not continued toward his toes. If they have, amputation of his leg may become part of his future. We're praying with all our hearts that isn't the case. 🐾💙

Today's estimate came in higher than we anticipated. 💸
