To who it may concern,
I have been a professional recruiter for over 20 years (mostly in the IT & Telecom industries) and I have been a basketball official for almost 20 years in the state of PA. I have been aware of the shortage of referees and umpires at the high school and middle school levels for many years. I have decided to try and help the problem by combining my experiences of recruiting and officiating and offer my services to groups who need help recruiting and retaining ‘good’ officials. My company RecruitingREFS, is a start-up company that will aim on finding qualified men and women who have the ability, time and passion to officiate our youth while making money doing it. I know the sacrifices it takes to officiate but I also know how rewarding it can be.
