Notice a “cold spot” and think it’s paranormal? Sometimes: first, rule out these physics: air leaks (windows/doors), stack effect (warm air rises, pulling cold air in), HVAC cycles, moisture, or cold surfaces like brick.

Here’s our process:
1. Take 3 temps (waist/head/floor).
2. Use an anemometer: airflow means draft.
3. Log temps every few feet.
4. Use IR thermometer on surfaces (cold air ≠ cold wall).
5. If temp dips only occur with reported activity and nothing structural explains it, then we dig deeper.

Winter is ideal: bigger temp differences make anomalies stand out for evidence.
