Trash 2, 60x38”. Literally, made from trash, recycling, and remnants. I got my hands on some good packing material discards one day last year while I was doing warehouse work and decided to create a painting on layers of cardboard that I stapled to a furniture skid. I loved the painting but didn’t get up the energy to figure out how to build the “frame” for it until last week. I raided the wood discard pile at Home Depot and built this fairly crude frame and used donated gold spray paint on it. It’s actually a very cool piece!! Edgy, gritty, a little trashy, a little glam, flawed but also beautiful. Definitely has personality!! It’s hanging out at the home store in Hawthorne if you want to see it! 🤩
