I’ve finishing up a bunch of modeling projects for the S6 so that I can consolidate the lasercut/plasma order. This right here is the front crossmember/subframe. The idea is that the cutting and welding can progress on these bits while I work on the chassis and body. My welding is “ok” but I have friends that have a much better tig hand than I. I’m currently in Japan with the goal of filling in the blanks on the chassis/cage so I can hit the ground running when I’m back in the USA.

Just thought this was cool. I need to resurrect the car so we can take the full size pic.
Just wanted to briefly show where the car has been over the past 10 years. Much of it will be a good reference point for sort of what I want when I rebuild shortly, but details on that will be soon. I’m going to consider this a bookmark for what I had, and from this point on, the car goes under the knife and I can share what I’ve been working on while the shop was being rebuilt, and what that means for the build.
