Hello, today we want to showcase Casa De Chocolates! They are a Mexican chocolate shop owned and operated here in the Bay Area! Go check out there shop in Berkeley and support local Latino businesses.

Thank you to all those who joined us at the Immersive Frida Kahlo Exhibition last week!

Today, let’s focus on a historical event that happened in Bolivia 🇧🇴! In 1952, peasants and miners fought out the military rule governing Bolivia. Which allowed Victor Paz Estenssoro to return back from exile and become president of Bolivia!

For today’s historical event in Latin America let’s look at the Dominican Republic! In 1979, the Dominican Republic was hit hard by Hurricane David, costing the country about $1 billion dollars in damage.
