Drainage pans are required under mechanical units like a furnace located in the attic above finished living areas. The purpose is to drain water away in the event of a leak to prevent damage to finished areas. Annual service is recommended to ensure your Furnace is functioning properly. We found a drainage pan backed up and in danger of leaking during an inspection of a 7 figure home. We were unsure of the cause but we found several dead bats in the area. We suspect one may have clogged the drainage line. We not have multiple recommendations for our happy Client.
