Many people especially younger folks don't like talking over the phone and would feel more comfortable texting. This is a free service for anyone - if you would like to join me in raising awareness for mental illness copy and paste (not share).

Free Captioned Telephone Service (CTS)
Captioned telephone service (CTS) is a federally funded program administered by the FCC as part of the American with Disabilities Act. Anyone with hearing loss is eligible to participate anywhere in the U.S. at no cost. Installation, in-home training & ongoing support are provided free. CaptionCall is similar to captioned television. CaptionCall requirements:
1. A hearing loss that necessitates the use of captioned telephone service
2. An internet connection & a standard home phone connection
3. A Professional Certification Form certifying your hearing loss.
