STUDIO1529 ~ I’m very excited to announce that my first solo photography exhibition is happening next month in the gallery at Chalk Hill Artist Residency. I will be showing portraits of a number of the artists whom I have had the pleasure to work with over the last two years during their time at the Ranch. Nine artists, represented by 16 images. It could have been 10x that size, but for my first show, I think it makes sense to keep it manageable for the space. I’m grateful to Executive Director Margo Warnecke Merck and Program Director Martine Matejczyk for the opportunity. I hope local friends come by to say hello and view the art between 1 and 4 PM. ~ Doug
