This holiday season we've set up two Giving Trees in Healdsburg! If you’re out shopping local this weekend, please stop by our dear friends at Downtown Bakery & Creamery and St Paul's Episcopal Church of Healdsburg to see the wishes.
Each wish will help support an individual or family in our housing programs. You just pick a tag, shop the wishes, and check the tag for delivery instructions!
This year’s Giving Tree program will run until 12/20. Thank you for helping us spread warmth and joy during this special time of year!🎄 ✨

This morning we had a mighty crew of more than 20 volunteers help pack and deliver meals to participants in our housing programs and to those still experiencing homelessness in Northern Sonoma County. 130 meals were gifted today and we wouldn’t be more grateful for the support of our incredible community! Special thanks to Alexander Valley Vineyards for always providing a beautiful space to cook and pack these delicious meals.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving! 💙

The new HUD guidelines will impact the entire system of care in Sonoma County and across the country, making it harder to reach functional zero by the end of next year in Windsor, Healdsburg, and Cloverdale.
We decreased our unsheltered population in Northern Sonoma County by over 70% in the last 5 years by meeting people where they are, building trust, creating stability, and encouraging each person to get the help they need to recover. This could end the ability to do this, and depending on how dollars flow, will limit the funding available for services we currently offer. It is significantly more expensive for the community to use law enforcement and jails to criminalize homelessness than it is to house someone with case management support.
Some of the highlights of the changes to HUD guidelines are attached, including the Press Democrat article.
