Ornamentals for structure and shape! 🌿🌿🌿

Some plants earn their place in the garden purely on form — and this lineup is a good example. Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight’ brings tall, upright presence with big blooms that shift from creamy green to blush as the season goes on.

Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Golf Ball’ holds a neat, rounded shape naturally — no shaping required. Right beside it, Acacia cognata ‘Cousin Itt’ offers the opposite: a low, somewhat eccentric, weeping mound of fine foliage that spills and cascades.

And Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Silver Sheen’ rounds things out with upright, silvery-green foliage on dark stems — a nice shift in color and texture next to the others.

Upright, rounded, weeping — sometimes the best gardens come from playing those shapes off each other.

Tomorrow is the day!

Sunday, June 14th, kicks off our Corazon Healdsburg benefit week — and we’re celebrating in style!

First up, from 10–11am, we’re welcoming local farmer Sam Tookey for a live Q&A! Sam farms 10 acres of vegetables in Healdsburg and sells at farmers markets in Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, and Sebastopol. Come with your questions — this is a rare chance to chat one-on-one with someone who truly knows the land.

Then from 12–2pm, the party continues with live music from Byron & the BoHoss Boogie Boys — bringing h***y tonk heat with back porch soul, with sounds rooted in blues, ragtime, and country.

All week long through June 21st, 10% of proceeds from seeds, garden tools, organic fertilizers, containers, home goods, and ornamental plants will go to support Corazon Healdsburg. 🌺 🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺
