📜 1964 - Now Senator Randolph testifies before the Senate Rules subcommittee to encourage a name change and funding for construction of the museum.
🚀 1966 - The original law is amended to allow for the museum construction and a name change to include the history of spaceflight. It is signed into law by President Lyndon Baines Johnson.
