🫑 🌶️ We have some fresh picked peppers in the stand! $1 for 4. They include bell peppers, colored sweet peppers and banana peppers. The plants and veggies have never been sprayed with any chemicals so I would consider them organic, however they are not certified organic. We have over 200 pepper plants in the ground, so be ready for lots more in the coming months!

Don’t forget we have pasture raised chickens and eggs available upon request!

CHOKECHERRY - (Prunus virginiana) is a tart, astringent wild fruit highly regarded in folk medicine. Historically used by Indigenous peoples and herbalists, its berries act as an antioxidant-rich tonic, while the inner bark is traditionally used in teas or syrups as a remedy for respiratory and digestive ailments.

CHOKEBERRY- (also known as Aronia) is celebrated for its incredibly high concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants. Medicinally, it is utilized to reduce oxidative stress, support cardiovascular health, manage blood sugar levels, and lower inflammation. Chokeberry extract has demonstrated promising anti-cancer properties in laboratory and animal studies.

ELDERBERRY - (Sambucus nigra) is best known for immune support. Studies indicate that taking elderberry supplements (like syrups or lozenges) within 48 hours of symptoms may reduce the duration and severity of the common cold and flu by about two days. We make our own elderberry syrup on the farm - we would love to share the recipe with you when you purchase our elderberries!!

NANNYBERRY-(Viburnum lentago) has a rich history of traditional and herbal medicinal applications. Various Indigenous North American cultures traditionally utilized different parts of the plant for the following remedies:Bark & Root: The inner bark and roots were frequently used to brew teas or decoctions. Traditional healers utilized them as a diuretic, to relieve muscular spasms, soothe cramping, and treat asthma. It was also historically consumed to ease vomiting and strengthen the female reproductive tract.Leaves: An infusion or poultice of the leaves was traditionally applied to treat the measles and used as a wash for a sore tongue or mouth.Fruit: The ripe berries are primarily known for their edible qualities—tasting like a blend of prunes and dates. They are high in dietary fiber, Vitamin C, and antioxidants, historically making them a nutritious cold and flu season tonic.

Farm Fresh Eggs & Whole Chickens

Eggs are unwashed, pasture raised, and come from happy and healthy chickens.

$5 per dozen.

Our whole chickens are also pasture raised, antibiotic free, and vacuum sealed for freshness. These would be perfect to add to your 4th of July grilling celebrations!

The chickens are average 4.5-6 pounds and $20 per bird.

Both chickens and washed eggs are available by appointment for pick up!

Most people know the monarch butterfly lays its eggs on milkweed (host plant). We’ve been raising monarchs here for over 25 years, when you stop in take a glance around and you will see milkweed (everywhere)!

BUT DID YOU KNOW there are lots of other pollinators that need our help!!! 🐛🐛🦋🦋
