I’ve been saying I needed to corral these dahlias before they got too big… and I finally got it done. 🙌🏼 T-posts, red baling twine, two layers and a whole lot of crisscrossing. Now they have room to grow up through the support without the next Missouri storm taking them all out.

And tell me the red twine isn’t weirdly satisfying. 😂

The fireworks had just started when I noticed two silhouettes above the bright lights… so I grabbed my phone as fast as I could. Low light, quick glimpse, and all—but TWO B-2 bombers?! So freaking cool. 🇺🇸✈️

Today’s harvest. 💐

Every bouquet looks a little different as more flowers start blooming, and I love watching the flower field change week by week. Today’s mix is mostly snapdragons and stock, but the dahlias, cosmos, zinnias, and sunflowers are getting closer every day.

This is exactly why I planted so many different varieties… there’s always something new to cut.

Finally put my new paint sprayer to work on a small bathroom cabinet makeover and I’m impressed with how easy it was to use. 🎨

The cabinet started out black, got a coat of primer, and finished in a creamy beige paint. For this project, I used the smaller orange nozzle, which was perfect for a smaller piece.

One feature I really liked was being able to rotate the spray pattern depending on whether I was spraying vertically, horizontally, or working in tighter areas. And the lightweight design made a big difference from start to finish.

I forgot to take before-and-after photos, but this sprayer has definitely earned a spot in my DIY toolbox for future furniture and cabinet projects.
