Today we’re practicing and perfecting one of our Year-Round Signature Cakes our 4-inch Lemon Cake! 🍋

Every signature cake goes through multiple rounds of testing to make sure the flavor, texture, weight, size, and presentation are exactly how I want them before they’re added to the menu.

Today’s focus: The crumb coat. This first layer seals in the crumbs and creates the perfect foundation for a smooth, beautiful finish.

I’m not rushing this process because I want every cake that leaves my kitchen to represent excellence. Thank you for following me on this journey as I build something special from the ground up.

Today was such a great day! ❤️

My big guy was by my side from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. He helped me unpack the booth, restock throughout the day, pack up the cookies we had left, and load everything back into the car. He was a huge help from start to finish!

We had an amazing day meeting so many new people, and I’m beyond grateful for everyone who stopped by to support Virgin In The Kitchen.

🎉 We SOLD OUT of our brownies and Loaded Oreo Rice Krispy Treats! I honestly wasn’t expecting that, and it made my heart so happy.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported my small business, and showed us so much love. Every purchase, share, and kind word means more than you know. 💕
